Research Interests: Explainable AI, medical imaging segmentation and classification, vision-language models
Amira completed her B.S. in Computer Science at Nazarbayev University. Her research focuses on interpretable AI for skin cancer classification: adapting ProtoPFormer for medical imaging, developing superpixel-aided segmentation and prototype learning, and applying interpretability tools such as Grad-CAM and ABCDE rule extraction. She aims to advance explainable AI for medical imaging through vision-language models.
