The DBMI Technology Development Core has two primary missions:
Ease the computing and regulatory infrastructure burden on faculty, staff, and students by
Creating standalone services that pool resources to serve common computational needs
Developing and documenting reusable components, including both software and processes
Stay at the forefront of scientific knowledge and information sharing by building technical and regulatory solutions that enable responsible access to data assets, including
Participating in or learning from large data storage/access programs
Staying aware of emerging standards for data and data access
Keeping our cloud skills sharp by developing all of our own projects with cloud infrastructure
