Ana Maria Ramirez Diaz

Research Interests: Statistical learning for precision health, phenotype harmonization, psychiatric genetics.
Ana Maria completed her undergraduate studies in Neuroscience (B.S.) and Philosophy (B.A.) at UCLA, where she worked in Drs. Nelson Freimer and Loes Olde Loohuis' labs studying the genetics of severe mental illness in underrepresented populations. Her research includes analyzing large-scale psychiatric data, phenotype harmonization, and symptom-level analyses across diverse clinical contexts. She hopes to advance representative, equitable approaches to psychiatric research and data science.
