Andrew Bigelow

Research Interests: Spatial Transcriptomics, Cancer, and Machine Learning
Andrew completed his Bachelor's at the University of California, San Diego in Bioengineering with a focus in Bioinformatics. During his time, he researched in the Hannah Carter Lab in the School of Medicine, where he analyzed clinical spatial transcriptomic samples from liver transplants for potential early markers of necrosis or ischemic cholangiopathy. His research interest is in using machine learning to improve cancer diagnostics.
