Anthony Wu

Research Interests: Imaging biomarker discovery, federated learning, multimodal modeling in ocular and systemic diseases

Anthony recently graduated from UCLA with a BS in Computational and Systems Biology. His research at the Jules Stein Eye Institute focused on using machine learning in ocular imaging (retinal and anterior segment OCT), waveforms (EEG and ERG), and genetics to uncover ocular and systemic disease subtypes and predict disease trajectories. He plans to continue this research while developing federated learning methodologies to enable privacy-preserving, multi-institutional modeling.
