Ashakiran Rochette

Research Interests: Computational Genomics, Cancer Biology, Machine Learning, and Bioinformatics Software Development.

Asha received her BS in Biotechnology from the University of Florida, with a minor in Computer Science. Her research used ribosome profiling and sequencing analysis to study translation fidelity and its impact on cancer and neurodegenerative disease. She also built a web-based platform for preprocessing and analyzing RiboSeq and RNA-Seq data, making sequencing analysis accessible to non-computational researchers. She is passionate about designing tools that advance genomic research.
