Avon Yang

Avon Yang double majors Bioengineering (Biotechnology) & Mathematics-Computer Science at UCSD. In senior design, she applies Convolutional Neural Network to train the Triple Negative Breast Cancer data and achieves accurate classification between different cancerous subtypes. She is interested in using her computational training background to precise clinical decision, improve patient treatments and cancer diagnosis.

Her research interests mainly focus on deep learning for medical imaging and AI's application on biomedical data for clinical data analysis.
