Brittany Bustos

Research Interests: AI/ML applications in clinical informatics, equity-focused precision medicine, and social medicine.

Brittany holds a B.A in Biology from New York University. Her research background includes platelet transcriptomics and their role in cardiovascular and inflammatory diseases. She also has experience in community health and patient advocacy. Brittany is interested in applying biomedical informatics to advance health equity by developing tools that address structural barriers in care for underserved and immigrant populations. As a future physician, she’ll apply these tools to expand access.
