Esteban Hebel is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Clinical Informatics Research & Development. "As a Chilean physician, I believe that medical informatics has the potential to reduce considerably disparities in health, especially in developing countries where patients have less access to it." Hebel is interested in health data warehousing and information exchange, cost-effectiveness of technology and the use of novel technologies in the clinical practice and medical education.
