Irith Katiyar

Research Interests: Machine learning for genomics and healthcare; computer vision and natural language processing

Irith completed his B.S. in Computer Science and a minor in Computational Biology and Bioinformatics at the University of Southern California. He aspires to leverage machine learning to advance human health, whether in genome analysis, disease diagnosis, or personalized medicine. Irith interned at Thermo Fisher, where he developed a deep learning model to separate cellular components in microscope images. He is excited to further apply his computational background to the biomedical field.
