Jingpin (Daniel) Liu
MMSc in Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2028
Research Interests: Machine Learning for Neural Signal Processing, Brain-Computer Interfaces, MEG/EEG Analysis
Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Mathematics from the University of Toronto. His research applied computational methods to zebrafish neural imaging and behavioral data to study visual reflexes and social behaviours. Building on these skills, Daniel pursued his growing interest in human brain imaging, inspired by Sergey Stavisky's BCI talk and related coursework at U of T. He looks forward to applying machine learning in neural decoding, BCI, and EEG/MEG analysis.
