Karandeep Singh, MD, MMSc

Master of Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2015

Karandeep Singh is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Brigham and Woman's Hospital. He studies emerging technologies such as natural language processing to predict clinical outcomes using high-dimensional statistical analysis and machine learning. Singh also has an interest in mobile and wearable technologies. His research goals for the future include the development of algorithms and pipelines that allow physicians to take findings from high-dimensional data from the bench to the bedside. "I joined the MMSc program because of the broad training in the different domains of biomedical informatics. Much of the methods I have applied to clinical informatics were borne out of bioinformatics."
