Research Interests: imaging biomarkers, protein design, multi-omics, ML interpretability, precision medicine

Kristine received a B.S. in Applied Mathematics — Biology from Brown University. As an undergraduate, she was a member of Nicola Neretti's lab and developed a pipeline for identifying 3D structural changes in senescent chromosome territories, integrating microscopy image processing, cell segmentation models, and graph representation learning. She also conducted biostatistics research at UCLA, where she worked on identifying health disparities in thyroid cancer care outcomes using EMR data.
