Mitchell Izower, MD, MBI

Mitch is a hospital medicine attending at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and instructor at Harvard Medical School. He works with the BIDMC Community IT department on EMR policy, design, implementation, education, and QI. He is also a physician development lead for ordering, discharges, and transfers at a private EMR company. Mitch completed his Internal Medicine residency at Northwell Health, where he chaired the Resident and Fellow Forum. His research interests include applying AI to improve patient care, CDS, and EMR development.
