Molly Douglas

Molly Douglas, MD, MBI

Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2023

Dr. Molly Douglas is an acute-care surgeon. She received her MD from Tufts University School of Medicine, and completed residency at Maine Medical Center and fellowship in surgical critical care at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. She has practiced for several years at the University of Arizona's Medical Center in Tucson, and directed their Surgical Critical Care Fellowship. Her research interests are in leveraging computing and EMR data to improve patient outcomes and provider experience. 

Her research interests include machine learning for medicine and surgery; time series, text summarization, provider experience.
