Niklas Rindtorff, MBI

Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2019

Niklas Rindtorff's research involves building a platform for drug testing of patient-derived cancer organoids using automated high-throughput microscopy to assess organoid viability. "For my capstone project I will be exploring new analytical approaches that could make a comparable assay faster and more reliable. I want to gain a deeper understanding of current approaches to integrate multiple biological and medical datasets; exploratory clinical data analysis and strategies to turn results to actionable predictions; and building profitable data-centered services in biomedicine. I want to research and build recommender systems for precision oncology as either a physician scientist or a health data scientist in an industry environment."
