Nina studied Molecular and Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, where she did research on endogenous retroviruses and their role in embryonic development. She hopes to apply data science and AI tools to a variety of areas in biomedical research, such as analyzing high-throughput genomic data to better understand the basis of human diseases and applying machine learning to clinical diagnostics and decision-making.
