Nisarg Patel's research interests include health policy, synthetic biology, and cancer immunotherapy. "I have a background in biotechnology and health IT startups, which made the MBI program the perfect training to blend those interests. I plan to begin residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery next year and puruse a career balancing clinical practice with work in the health care and biotechnology industry."
