Ritvik Raina

Ritvik did his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Engineering at the City University of Hong Kong, where he dabbled in various applications of health technology, with an emphasis on innovation and accessibility. He worked with Dr. Raymond Lam and the Hong Kong Government to devise a system to automate the preventive maintenance testing procedure of biomedical equipment in hospitals to reduce down time and improve efficiency using robotics and machine vision. Ritvik believes that as the world enters a new age of healthcare technology and accessibility individuals who can leverage backgrounds and experiences in healthcare and artificial intelligence are pertinent. There is a need to work together to innovate in this nexus and develop affordable precision health technology not just where it is convenient but also where it is needed most by people. 

His research interests include precision medicine, computer vision, drug discovery, AI democratization.
