Research Interests: Causal AI, AI agents, multi-modal health data, real-world evidence, and data-driven medicine

Rodrigo trained as a physician and lawyer in Brazil before completing an MPH at Harvard School of Public Health. He conducted research at MIT on AI for health, focusing on equity, algorithmic fairness, and developing frameworks for bias detection and model transparency in clinical applications. His interests include causal AI, AI-human interaction, clinical decision support systems, multi-modal biomedical data, and scalable AI solutions for global health challenges.
