Scott Lipnick is an Instructor in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School.  He also holds positions as a Principal Scientist at the Harvard University Department of Stem Cell and Regenerative Biology (SCRB) and member of the Massachusetts General Hospital Center for Assessment Technology and Continuous Health (CATCH).  His long-term research goal is to integrate medical informatics, genomics, and cellular models, including induced pluripotent cells and their derivatives, to identify druggable pathways that underlie disease and match them to responder patient groups.  His current projects primarily focus on neurodevelopmental and neurodegenerative diseases, including Spinal Muscular Atrophy, Parkinson’s disease, Schizophrenia, and Aging.  He received his doctorate in Biomedical Physics from the University of California, Los Angeles.
