Szu-Yeu Hu received his M.D degree at National Taiwan University and worked as a primary care physician at National Taiwan University Hospital. He also engaged in bioinformatics research at Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He is interested in the integration of data from different sources, including genomic, social-behavioral, environmental and clinical data. "I am hoping to apply machine learning to these large-scale data, to better understand human diseases and improve our health care. After completing the program, I hope to excel in analytic techniques and realize my goal of becoming a physician scientist."
