Varun Ullanat
Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2024
Varun completed his Bachelor's in Biotechnology from RVCE, India. His thesis was based on analyzing Epithelial-Mesenchymal transition in regulatory networks using a systems biology approach. Since then he has worked on developing Machine Learning tools to analyze and annotate protein structures. Varun enjoys teaching and has worked as a TA on graduate courses, and in an NGO as a voluntary science tutor.
His research interests include deep learning, drug discovery and biophysics.
