Wei-Hung Weng, MD, MMSc

Master of Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2017

Wei-Hung Weng is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Computer Science. His research interest is to improve clinical decision making and realize data-driven medicine. By using natural language processing and machine learning algorithms to extract and analyze meaningful clinical data, he is currently focusing on building a collective intelligent system to assist physicians in finding the experts for improving the quality and efficiency of clinical care. The future goals will be extended to finding the reliable information (e.g., question-answering system). "The MMSc program in Biomedical Informatics at Harvard Medical School provides solid training, resources and opportunities for me to connect with the experts from different domains, and leverage my research capability in this interdisciplinary field."
