Yida Zhang, PhD

Former Research Fellow in Biomedical Informatics, Harvard Medical School
Mentor: Peter Park, PhD (formerly Peter Kharchenko, PhD)

Yida Zhang received his PhD in Bioinformatics from the University of California, Los Angeles. Zhang's doctoral research focused on the mechanism of the genetic regulation of alternative splicing in human brain and its implication in neurological disorders. At DBMI, he is expanding this concentration to integrate single-cell image, epigenetic and RNA-seq datasets to better understand brain functions on the molecular level.
