Yijia Jiang is interested in implementing mathematical modeling and statistical tools to analyze biomedical data. She previously worked as a research assistant in a cardiovascular research lab, where she utilized biomedical data to discover genetic therapeutical targets. She was also involved in several machine learning projects, including image analysis and traffic dynamics modeling. In the future, Yijia hopes to apply quantitative skills to conduct genomic research and use new data techniques to give solutions in the biomedical industry. Yijia's research interests include big data and mathematical modeling, deep learning with biomedical data, genomic sequencing, and biotechnology.
