Yilin (Elaine) Chen

Research Interests: Computer vision, Precision medicine, ML interpretability

Elaine completed her bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Mathematical Statistics at Smith College. She is committed to leveraging machine learning to improve clinical decision-making. Her undergraduate research focused on using computer vision for fine-grained image classification of dog breeds and developing a GPU- and MPI-accelerated implementation of a statistical method for detecting complex patterns in large molecular datasets.
