Zoe Zabetian
Research Interests: Machine learning, single-cell transcriptomics, computational biology, accessible biomedical tools
Zoe received her BS in Biomolecular Engineering and Bioinformatics from UC Santa Cruz. Her undergraduate research focused on cancer immunotherapy, where she trained neural networks to classify immune cells and used these models to study transcriptional differences between CAR-activated and natural regulatory T cells. She also developed web tools for cell type prediction and pathway analysis, and is eager to continue creating accessible and interpretable tools for biomedical research.
