Baker Hamilton is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Computer Science who completed a Residency in Emergency Medicine at NYU/Bellevue Hospital Center in 2014. As an emergency medicine physician, he plans to address the quality and safety of emergency care through novel uses of clinical information. Specifically, he will be focusing on data-driven medicine, which uses the vast quantities of data populating electronic health records to help inform clinical decisions. "My goal is to develop computer applications based on this research, which will provide both measurable improvements in patient outcomes as well as practical utility to healthcare providers across variety of settings."
