Brendin Beaulieu-Jones completed his MD at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and his MBA at the Tuck School of Business. Beaulieu-Jones is a general surgery resident at Boston University Medical Center. Beaulieu-Jones joins the Master of Biomedical Informatics Program at the Department of Biomedical Informatics as a NLM BIRT Fellow. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gabriel Brat, Beaulieu-Jones will be using machine learning-based methods to improve surgical decision making and improve patient outcomes. Beaulieu-Jones aims to leverage data science to improve health care delivery.

Brendin's research interests include machine learning, surgical decision-making, clinical outcomes, and health services research.
