David Chen is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Laboratory of Computer Science. Chen is interested in the development of novel mobile and web platforms for bridging data between PHR (patient health record) and EHR (electronic health record) systems. His primary research focus is on the development of electronic patient agenda lists to synchronize and minimize discrepancies between physician and patient medical decision preferences. "I envision that such a tool will mutually benefit both patients and their providers, as it will foster better communication while empowering patients as the primary drive in their health management."
