Frank Pandolfe, MD, MMSc

Master of Medical Science in Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2017
Biomedical Informatics Research Training Fellow, 2015-2017

Frank Pandolfe is a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Division of Clinical Informatics. He started his career as a computer scientist prior to pursing medical training. During his medical training and practice, he became passionate about improving the experience that health care workers have with electronic clinical tools and using an informatics approach to simplify complex and time-demanding processes. His inspiration was spurred after his own experience as well as observing others frustrations with the current systems. Pandolfe's current interest lies in providing accurate patient medication information across various clinical settings and including the patient as a mode verification. "I am excited to be pursuing my research fellowship in the Division of Clinical Informatics group at BIDMC. I continue to provide clinical care as a hospitalist in the Boston area."
