Master of Biomedical Informatics, Class of 2020
Biomedical Informatics Research Training Fellow, 2018-2020

Jonathan Levin is a pediatrician and a dual clinical fellow in Neonatology and Pediatric Pulmonary medicine. He has an interest in lung diseases of prematurity known as Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia (BPD). "I am interested in learning data science to better map the outcomes and utilization patterns of former premature infants as they grow older. When I complete the program, I hope to work with existing collaborations of neonatologists and pulmonologists to create national large datasets of infants with BPD, using institutional data and billing claims to better study how interventions early in the NICU affect outcomes and utilization patterns in infancy and childhood. I am also interested in using the mass amount of data collected in the NICU to develop clinical decision-making tools."
