Célia Souque is a postdoctoral research fellow in the Baym lab. Souque investigates the impact of mobile genetic elements and horizontal gene transfer on antimicrobial resistance evolution. She previously did her PhD at the University of Oxford in the Department of Zoology, studying the impact of integrons on bacteria evolution using a combination of experimental evolution, genomics, and mathematical modelling.
